About Keegan Casidy
I am an independent mortgage broker in British Columbia, mainly serving North Vancouver. The best part about being independent my clients have confidence in being taken care of directly by me.
I am part of a team of thirteen brokers within our brokerage, Ambro Group. Our team was #1 for files funded within The Mortgage Group in the province of BC for 2016. My dream for the future is to be a successful broker, more specifically to hit the top twenty percent within The Mortgage Group in the next three years, and to be in the top five percent in the next five to ten years.
The Keegan Casidy Difference
To me, every client is so different, but there are broadly two types of files clients fall into – straight forward and complex. Straight forward files generally involve clients who are salaried employees, with excellent credit and are purchasing a property with a completion date at least two weeks out. However, it’s the clients with the more complex files that have the most motivation to seek out a mortgage broker. They come to a broker to get their file funded either because a bank can’t fund in time, the client feels the rate/product being offered is unfair, or the bank simply will not loan on that file.

I have access to many lenders and products, do all the groundwork, and save my clients’ time and money. My access to better rates and products makes me second to none.
Another aspect that sets me apart from other brokers is that I share my client’s excitement of completing the purchase of a home, due to the relationships that I develop with them.
While I have been fortunate to handle several large files in my first couple years, one of my most noteworthy achievements was getting funding for a very complicated file. In this case, I had to turn around a new file within forty-eight hours for funding. It was a stressful time for everyone involved as you can imagine, but I was able to get it funded.
While mortgages are my passion, I am equally passionate about preserving the environment. I volunteer with the North Shore Stream Keepers and participate in a host of other green initiatives. One of which was when I planted over a hundred cedar trees along Mosquito Creek, near my office in Edgemont Village.
